Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Edmonton is seeking a Supervisor to lead and inspire service-focused teams, drive top-line sales, and manage daily merchandising and operations. You will coach associates, ensure staffing levels, and promote peak performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and a customer-first mindset are essential, along with the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as a supervisor / leading teams.
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong decision making ability and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and Inspiring associates to build relationships with customers, associates & peers to provide exceptional service and achieve top-line sales.
• Ensuring department staffing levels meet business needs.
• Managing associate performance through development, communication, rewards and recognition, and providing ongoing feedback.
• Reviewing sales and other reports with the assistant manager to make recommendations for inventory, overhead organization and cross merchandising to drive sales.
• Maintaining 100% in stock and overhead organizational plans.
• Investigating, resolving and escalating customer issues as appropriate.
• Communicating store sales, events and promotional activities through rallies and weekly department meetings.
• Ensuring that all Safety and Asset Protection standards and protocols are communicated and followed.
