Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Edmonton is seeking a capable Supervisor to lead a team in daily store operations, ensuring store readiness, organizing aisles, overheads and inventory management, and coordinating minor resets and cross merchandising to maintain planogram adherence.

You will partner with the Operations Assistant Manager to develop game plans, manage associate performance through feedback and recognition, ensure safety standards, and schedule flexible shifts including overnights while

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as a supervisor / leading teams
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts

Responsibilities

• Ensure store readiness, organize aisles, overheads and manage inventory.
• Handle minor resets and cross merchandising while maintaining planogram adherence.
• Collaborate with the Operations Assistant Manager to prioritize duties.
• Unload and inspect merchandise quantities and quality; packdown when needed.
• Record product receipts accurately in the store system.
• Maintain department staffing levels to meet business needs.
• Drive associate performance through development, feedback, rewards and recognition.
• Enforce safety and asset protection standards and communicate protocols.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensuring store readiness, organizing aisles and overheads and inventory management
• Managing minor resets and cross merchandising as necessary and ensuring planogram adherence
• Partnering with the Operations Assistant Manager in developing and delivering a game plan to prioritize duties of associates
• Unloading and inspecting quantity and quality of merchandise; packdown as needed
• Ensuring the receipt of all products into the store and properly entering the information into the store system
• Ensuring department staffing levels meet business needs
• Managing associate performance through development, communication, rewards and recognition, and providing ongoing feedback
• Ensuring that all Safety and Asset Protection standards and protocols are clearly communicated and followed
