Job summary

RONA in Ontario is seeking a dynamic Retail Store Supervisor to lead a team and drive exceptional customer service. You will oversee merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day store operations to ensure targets are met.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong communication, and a track record in retail management, with a commitment to inclusion and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in personnel management.
• Experience managing a retail business.
• Strong leadership, resourceful and autonomous.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the companys requirements.
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Managers directions.
• Supervise the replenishment process.
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility.
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
