Job summary

RONA, a hardware and home improvement retailer, is seeking a Store Supervisor in Ontario. You will supervise work, resolve issues for customer satisfaction, supervise replenishment, and carry out merchandising per Store Manager's directions.

The role requires 5 years in personnel management, experience managing a retail business, strong leadership, initiative, and excellent communication. We value diversity and inclusion.

Your role:

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company02s requirements
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager02s directions
• Supervise the replenishment process
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we02re looking for:

• 5 years experience in personnel management
• Experience managing a retail business
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous
• Excellent communication skills
