RONA is seeking a Store Supervisor in Ottawa to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee merchandising, inventory replenishment, and promotional activities while coaching the team to meet sales and service goals.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive retail experience, and a focus on customer satisfaction within a dynamic hardware retail environment.

Your role:

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company02s requirements
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager02s directions
• Supervise the replenishment process
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we02re looking for:

• 5 years experience in personnel management
• Experience managing a retail business
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous
• Excellent communication skills
