Job summary

RONA in Burlington, Canada is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive merchandising according to management directions.

You will lead a team, recruit staff for your department, manage schedules within budget, and develop marketing strategies with awareness of trends.

The role requires 5 years in personnel management and retail leadership, with a commitment to an inclusive, safe work environment and community involvement.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in personnel management.
• Experience managing a retail business.
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company’s requirements.
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager’s directions.
• Supervise the replenishment process.
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives.
• Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility.
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
