Job summary

RONA in the Montérégie region, Boucherville, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure a high standard of customer service at our store.

You will drive merchandising, manage promotions, recruit and schedule staff, and coach teams to meet sales goals while maintaining an inclusive, safe work environment. This role offers growth opportunities within a community-focused retailer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in personnel management.
• Experience running a retail business.
• Strong leadership, resourcefulness, autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team according to priorities and store needs.

Your role

• Supervise work according to set priorities and the company’s requirements
• Resolve any issue that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Carry out merchandising duties according to the Store Manager’s directions
• Supervise the replenishment process
• Manage promotional activities according to sales, company initiatives. Be aware of current trends and competitors to help develop effective marketing strategy
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department under your responsibility
• Determine work schedule while complying with the established labour budget and ensuring that customer needs are met
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for

• 5 years experience in personnel management
• Experience managing a retail business
• Strong leadership skills, resourceful and autonomous
• Excellent communication skills
