Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance is seeking a Department Manager to lead a store department in Beloeil, Quebec. The role involves day-to-day management activities, planning objectives, and coaching the team to achieve results.

You will handle purchases, inventories, pricing, and marketing within established budgets while maintaining business readiness and service excellence. Training opportunities are offered to develop skills and advance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail leadership or store management.
• Experience defining objectives and managing a team.
• Ability to coach and provide feedback for improvement.

Responsibilities

• perform various management activities within your department;

• ensure the management of purchases, inventories, price lists, marketing, salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness;
