Job summary

Sunset Ridge Dental in Cochrane, AB is seeking a sterile processing professional to ensure the highest standards of instrument reprocessing. You will support a busy clinical team, maintain accurate records, and uphold IPAC protocols in a modern practice.

Ideal candidates have sterilization experience, an accredited Dental Assisting or MDRT program, and IPAC familiarity. The role emphasizes quality patient care and ongoing professional development in a supportive dentalcorp network.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in a sterilization role is an asset.
• Accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician programs preferred.
• IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments per IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and complete required testing/documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.
