Job summary

Vic West Dentistry is seeking a Sterilization Assistant for a part-time role (2–3 days per week) in Victoria. You will clean, sterilize, and store dental instruments, monitor equipment, and support the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Experience with IPAC is an asset; an accredited Dental Assisting program or MDRT training is preferred. Wages range with experience and location, and the practice offers a positive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments per IPAC standards.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and complete required testing.
• Maintain records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Keep reprocessing area clean, safe, and organized per health protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.
