Job summary

West End Dental Centre, part of the Dentalcorp network, is seeking a Registered/Certified Dental Assistant to join our team in Ontario. You will support dentists and hygienists, take X-rays, manage patient flow, and uphold IPAC standards, while focusing on patient comfort and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body or association.
• NDAEB registration preferred.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Conveniently located on Dundas Street West, West End Dental Centre has been serving the Trenton & Belleville community for more than 20 years. We offer comprehensive dental services, including, veneers, implants, root canal therapy, orthodontics, and whitening.

Additionally, through working within the dentalcorpnetwork, you will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the industry's leading clinicians and have greater access to the advanced treatment technologies, training & development, and support.

Schedule:

Monday: 10:00 AM- 7:00 PM.

Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM.

Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$25-$30/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
