Job summary

The Hunt Club Dental Centre is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team in Ottawa, Ontario. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and help maintain a smooth patient flow with accurate charting and radiographic imaging.

Qualifications

• Registered or Certified Dental Assistant with Provincial regulatory body.
• Experience in dental assisting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control per IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and educate on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships with professional conduct.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 8.00am - 4.00pm.
• Tuesday: 11.00am - 7.00pm.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$30-$34/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
