Job summary

Dentalhouse – Victoria Dental Arts in Belleville, Canada is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take X-rays, and maintain IPAC standards to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be registered/certified dental assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 8.00am - 5.00pm Friday: 8.00am - 4.00pm No evenings or weekends.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $25-$27/hour depending on skills, experience, and location. Please note that this is a replacement job opening.

About You

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
