Job summary

West End Dental Centre in Canada is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team on a replacement basis. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and help maintain patient comfort and workflow. Join a network within dentalcorp with access to advanced technology, continuing education, and support.

Experience and NDAEB preferred. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Competitive wage in the 25–30 CAD/hour range with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• NDAEB is preferred.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
