Job summary

Dawson Dental Waterloo is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our Ontario network. You will prepare rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, and uphold IPAC standards in a modern, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with the Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, ensuring patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
