Job summary

Boundary Trails Dental Centre in Morden, Canada, is seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and take dental X-rays while maintaining patient comfort and workflow.

Responsibilities include sterilization, chart updates, and education on oral hygiene. Prior experience is preferred, and applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
