Callander Bay Dental in Callander, ON, is hiring a dedicated Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists, prepare treatment rooms, take digital X-rays, and maintain infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Registered and/or Certified Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body is required.
  • English language skills are required.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
