Healthy Planet in Burlington, ON is seeking Project Discovery Specialists to perform in-store demos at designated locations. You will receive schedules and product information from head office and engage customers to educate them about sports supplements, grocery items, and HABA products.

The role requires independence, strong communication, and a sales-driven approach. You will track demo metrics, submit post-demo reports, and uphold Healthy Planet’s values while traveling regionally.

Role Overview
Project Discovery Specialists are independent, sales-focused brand representatives who execute in-store demos at designated Healthy Planet locations. You will receive schedules, product information, and demo guidelines from head office, and are responsible for carrying out each demo with professionalism, strong customer engagement, and solid product knowledge. This role suits someone who works well independently, enjoys interacting with customers, and is skilled at driving sales through education and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute demos according to the instructions, product details, and objectives provided by head office.
• Prepare and sample products safely and hygienically while following all food-handling and allergy protocols.
• Engage customers proactively; identify their needs and recommend products with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Present accurate, easy-to-understand product information across sports supplements, grocery items, and HABA products.
• Drive sales by combining product knowledge, strong communication, and high customer engagement.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining professionalism and reliability at all times.
• Track sample counts, customer interactions, sales conversions, and other required metrics during each demo.
• Submit post-demo reports including photos, observations, and sales results within set timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized demo table and ensure all materials and equipment are transported and stored properly.
• Communicate promptly with the Project Discovery team regarding scheduling, supplies, and any operational issues.
• Uphold Healthy Planet’s values in customer interaction, professionalism, and product representation.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong sales skills with confidence in closing customer purchases through education and engagement.
• Comfortable working independently without direct on-site supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and speak to product benefits across supplements, grocery, and HABA categories.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for regional travel.
• Ability to obtain a food-handling certificate before conducting demos.
• Experience in sales, retail, customer service, nutrition, fitness, or wellness is an asset.
• Able to lift and carry demo materials (approximately 20–30 lbs) and stand for the duration of shifts.
