Job description

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking an experienced Delivery Program Manager to join their Store Technology team in Toronto, ON. This role is responsible for leading complex, multi-squad technology programs end-to-end, from planning through closure.

What You'll Do
  • Develop a comprehensive program plan that defines the program's objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Identify and engage stakeholders, including executives, business sponsors, and team members; maintain regular communication to manage expectations and ensure buy-in
  • Establish program governance structures, including steering committees or advisory boards
  • Coordinate and allocate resources across multiple squads within the program
  • Identify and assess program risks; drive mitigation plans
  • Monitor progress of squad delivery, tracking KPIs and milestones
  • Oversee management of changes in program scope, schedule, and budget
  • Facilitate the closure of the program upon successful completion
  • Provide training and guidance to team members across squads to establish consistency
What You Bring
  • Financial management: budgeting, forecasting, accruals, invoice management, variance analysis
  • Scope management: establishing outcomes, MVP, epics, stories, releases, and milestones
  • Resource management: building and managing resource plans using FTE and partner resources
  • Risk management: anticipating, identifying, capturing, and mitigating risks
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Product Lifecycle Management experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of Jira/Jira Align and Confluence
  • Experience with Planview, Delivery Central, and Lucid is an asset
Compensation

Broadband salary range: $79,000 – $131,000. Typical hiring range: $79,000 – $105,000.
