Job summary

WCB-Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Delivery Manager in the Project Delivery Office within Business Technology Services. You will connect business strategy to execution across programs, partnering with directors and senior leaders to turn vision into a practical roadmap and investment plan.

You will lead governance, manage budgets and resource plans, track risks and changes, and report program health to executives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading complex delivery in a large organization.
• Ability to turn strategy into executable delivery plans with senior leaders.
• Experience managing budgets and forecasts for multi-million-dollar programs.
• Strong communication, governance, risk management and change control.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and program strategies into actionable roadmaps and delivery priorities.
• Support BSP with technology needs, priorities and cost forecasts.
• Build realistic delivery and resource plans and identify capacity constraints early.
• Guide initiatives through governance, planning, approvals, reporting and change control.
• Oversee program finances, forecast costs, and flag variances early.
• Monitor delivery performance, manage risks/issues/changes, and escalate when needed.
• Provide concise reporting on program health and decisions to Directors and senior management.
