Job summary

Save-On-Foods in West Vancouver, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to deliver groceries in a van and provide exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the online shopping team to resolve issues, meet online shopping standards, and drive safely in all weather.

Qualifications

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, pushing, and making deliveries in all weather conditions, both days and evenings.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.
