Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Duncan, BC is hiring a Delivery Driver to bring groceries from our van to customers’ doors, supporting the online shopping team and customer service center. You will deliver with safety and professionalism, maintaining a clean, roadworthy vehicle and handling requests in all weather.

We provide the company vehicle and cover gas, insurance, and maintenance. A BC Class 5 license, Serving It Right, and customer-service experience are preferred; lifting up to 40 pounds and working

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Class 5 license.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Current Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van with a focus on customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve service issues (returns, refunds).
• Meet operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
