Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring Delivery Drivers in Chilliwack, BC. Join our growing online shopping fulfillment team and drive a company vehicle from store to door while delivering exceptional customer service.

We provide a company vehicle, gas, insurance, and maintenance coverage. Successful candidates will have a BC Class 5 license, clean driving record, Serving It Right or willingness to obtain, and strong customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Clean driving abstract.
• Proficiency with GPS applications and smartphones.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
