Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is hiring caring individuals to join our team delivering in-home support and companionship to clients in Richmond, BC. You will assist with daily tasks, personal care, mobility, meals, and household duties, helping clients live independently at home.

We value empathy, reliability, and strong communication in English. CPR and First Aid certifications are required, along with legal eligibility to work in Canada and a valid driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Home Care/Resident Care Aide certificate or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• First Aid Certification is required.
• Access to reliable transportation is necessary.
• English proficiency required; Punjabi or Hindi are a plus.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Eligible to legally work in Canada.
• Covid Vaccination Proof is required.
• Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to support independence at home.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Manage household tasks and errands.
• Provide companionship and respite for family."

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• CPR Certification is required
• First Aid Certification is required
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; Panjabi or Hindi languages are a plus
• At least 1 year of prior caregiving experience
• Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.

• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Salary Range:

• $18-20/ H
