ComForCare Home Care Coquitlam & Tri-Cities, BC is looking for caring individuals to join our team. You will support clients at home with daily activities, personal care, and companionship to help them live independently and safely.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, Home Support/Resident Care Aide certification (or equivalent), CPR and First Aid, plus reliable transportation and strong English communication.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Home Support/Resident Care Aide certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• CPR Certification is required
• First Aid Certification is required
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required; Panjabi or Hindi languages are a plus
• At least 1 year of prior caregiving experience
• Eligibility to legally work in Canada is necessary for this position
• A valid driver's license is a plus
• Covid Vaccination Proof is required
• Current TB screening and a Criminal Record Check are required

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

Salary Range:

• $18-20/ H
