Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to help maintain clean, safe, and hygienic home environments for clients in our community. This role supports clients by keeping living spaces organized and comfortable, from dusting to laundry tasks, with a focus on safety and respectful care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of cleaning or housekeeping experience, reliable transportation, and intermediate English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Intermediate in English, spoken and written.
• Eligibility to legally work in Canada.
• CPR & First Aid Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming).
• Clean bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms.
• Maintain a hygienic environment through proper sanitization.
• Assist with laundry, folding, and linen changes.
• Organize and tidy household spaces.
• Support clients by creating a safe, comfortable home environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients and office staff.
• Report any concerns or changes in the home.

What We Are Looking For:

• A passion for helping others live safely and comfortably
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (1 year preferred)
• CPR & First Aid Certification (asset, not required for this role)
• Access to reliable transportation
• Intermediate in English, spoken and written
• Eligibility to legally work in Canada
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
• Covid vaccination proofCurrent TB screening and Criminal Record Check
