Job summary

EMCO Corporation in Burlington, Canada, is seeking a Driver to load trucks, deliver and pick up at customer and vendor locations, and uphold safety and company policies. You will communicate customer needs to the Profit Centre Manager and build long-lasting relationships.

Responsibilities include safe operation of delivery vehicles, keeping logs, loading/unloading, and contributing sales leads while supporting the Profit Centre team. Must have a Grade 12 diploma and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset.
• Possess a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries.
• Knowledge of driving laws for commercial vehicles and TDG Act.
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle and load materials.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and deliver goods to customer and vendor locations.
• Unload and place materials per receiving instructions; obtain signatures.
• Maintain safety practices, follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Represent the Profit Centre professionally and build customer/vendor relationships.
• Provide sales leads and support Profit Centre tasks as needed.
