Job summary

EMCO Corporation in Canada is seeking a Driver to join our wholesale delivery team. You will load trucks, perform safe deliveries and pickups at customer and vendor locations, and support our Profit Centre operations with timely, accurate handling of materials.

The role requires a Grade 12 or equivalent, a valid DZ license, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• A valid DZ License.
• A clean driver’s abstract demonstrating good driving skills.
• Experience driving a truck and making deliveries preferred.
• Knowledge of provincial MOT regulations and TDG Act helpful.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicle and handle loads.

Responsibilities

• Drive the EMCO truck safely and comply with laws and policy.
• Deliver to job sites, facilities, and vendor locations; pickup as needed.
• Load and unload materials; secure loads for transport.
• Complete pre-trip inspections; report mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate driver’s logs; document deliveries with signatures.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies with customers at delivery sites.
• Support Profit Centre activities and other tasks as directed.
• Follow all safety regulations at customers and facilities.
