Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring Delivery Drivers for the Sunwood location in Coquitlam, BC. You will deliver groceries in a company van and provide outstanding customer service, working with the online shopping team to handle returns and refunds as needed.

The role requires a BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, Serving It Right or willingness to obtain, and physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds. Training and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.
• Proficiency with mobile technology, including GPS apps and smartphones.
• Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Collaborate with online shopping team and customer service to resolve service issues.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and adhere to traffic rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean, roadworthy condition.

Just show up and drive!We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Sunwood Save-On-Foods location in Coquitlam, BC.You will be responsible for:Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.Other duties as assigned.You have:A valid, full class 5 provincial driver’s license from BC.A clean driver’s abstract.A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.Experience in a customer service-related role.A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
