Job summary

TK Elevator in Dieppe, NB seeks a reliable loader/driver to prepare vehicles for delivery, load and unload materials, and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

You will follow safety procedures, perform daily inspections, and communicate status to supervisors. A valid Class 5 license is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 license.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Prepare vehicle for delivery. Verify all items are securely loaded and protected from the elements and all accompanying paperwork is available
• Operate vehicle to transport material to site & branches.
• Maintain remote communications via telephone; follow instructions and provide status updates
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including documenting daily inspections and ensuring safety equipment, straps and paperwork are in place
• Follow safe operating procedures. Advise supervisor of potential hazards
• Accountable for working safely and ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with health and safety policies and legislation
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
• Keep warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
• Operate material-handling equipment as needed
• Assist in loading/unloading shipments within the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned
