Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator for the Fountain Tire Distribution Center in Acheson, AB. The role includes order picking, trailer receiving, inventory tracking and safe stock movement within a fast-paced warehouse.

Mandatory Fall Protection and Fire Watch certificates are required, plus a reliable vehicle since public transit access is limited to the Acheson site. Typical shifts include day or afternoon/weekend options, with competitive CAD pay.

Qualifications

• Mandatory certifications: Fall Protection and Fire Watch tickets.
• Reliable personal vehicle required (site not accessible by public transit).
• Physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Experience operating Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, or Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers.
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Windows and good written/verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards.

• Receiving & Putaway: process incoming trailers by sorting, stacking and storing items per standards.
• Loading & Unloading: safely load/unload delivery trucks to meet deadlines.
• Equipment Operation: operate Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, and Cherry Pickers across the distribution center.
• Inventory Control: track inventory locations and model numbers; assist with counts.
• Team Collaboration: work independently and with teammates to boost warehouse efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities
Order Picking: Accurately select orders and package products while consistently meeting site KPI targets.

Qualifications

Equipment Experience: Proven experience operating Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, or Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers.
Technical & Soft Skills: Basic computer skills with Microsoft Windows programs; excellent written and verbal communication.
Work Ethic: Strong ability to self-manage, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain high safety standards.
