Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join the Fountain Tire Distribution Center in Acheson, AB. You will be responsible for accurate order picking, trailer receiving, inventory tracking, and safely moving stock across the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has strong material-handling skills, holds valid Fall Protection and Fire Watch certifications, and can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Fall Protection and Fire Watch tickets.
• Must have reliable transportation to Acheson site.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs regularly.
• Experience operating Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts or Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Windows programs; good written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking: Accurately select orders and package products while meeting site KPI targets.
• Receiving & Putaway: Receive incoming trailers by sorting, stacking, and putting away items according to company standards.
• Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload delivery trucks to meet deadlines and commitments.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, and Order Pickers throughout the distribution center.
• Inventory Control: Maintain knowledge of inventory locations, model numbers, and handling procedures; assist with counts.
• Team Collaboration: Work independently and with team members to increase warehouse efficiency and safety.

• Team Collaboration: Work both independently and alongside team members to proactively increase overall warehouse efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Certifications: Valid Fall Protection and Fire Watch tickets.
• Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle is required (the Acheson site is not accessible via public transit).
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to consistently lift up to 80 lbs on a regular basis without assistance.
• Equipment Experience: Proven experience operating Reach Trucks, Stand-up Forklifts, or Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers.
• Technical & Soft Skills: Basic computer skills with Microsoft Windows programs; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Work Ethic: Strong ability to self-manage, work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain high safety standards.
