Qualifications

• Three-plus years of professional experience as a technical writer and/or editor.
• Experience in writing and editing technical documentation such as contract bids, proposals, business texts, and technical reports.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligibility for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical writing, editing, and formatting support to the Marine & Mission Systems Department by proofreading and copyediting documents.
• Edit documents using MS Word tracked changes to ensure consistency and clarity.
• Coordinate the production of contract program documents including deliverables and proposals.
• Support the creation of online and print documents such as reports, policies, proposals, and letters.
• Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to translate knowledge into usable documentation.
• Apply a unified content strategy during drafting of templates, proposals, and procedures.
