Under the general direction of the Senior Manager or Director of Account Management, the incumbent works closely with health system leadership, primarily large enterprise accounts. The Dedicated Account Specialist acts as a primary point of contact for client requests, including issue resolution, delivery, contracts, pricing, account setup, and credits, utilizing the support resources network as needed. This role sources data and generates reports to support customer initiatives and projects, ensuring ongoing implementation of programs and solutions, and regularly updating customers on progress. It also involves reviewing reports and purchasing history to assist with initiatives aimed at customer savings.
This role will serve as a strong individual contributor for a health systems customer account in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. It requires on-site presence at least once per week, with additional travel for meetings and events, generally once to twice per year. Candidates should reside within a 40-mile radius of central Philadelphia. Please note, the customer has multiple locations in the Philadelphia area, but this may change based on business needs.
Normal working hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET, with occasional variation based on business needs.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Broad training in pharmaceutical purchasing, pharmacy technician work, supply chain, or similar, typically through a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Pharmacy technician certification or experience as a pharmaceutical buyer is highly preferred. Requires at least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare finance department.
