Account Servicing Specialist - 60 Day Collections

Position Overview

The Account Servicing Specialist (60 Days) will be responsible for servicing auto loan accounts that are 60 days delinquent and documenting all collection activities using loan servicing software.

Responsibilities
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, suggest ways to meet obligations, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures.
  • Assist borrowers in devising strategies to retain their vehicle while fulfilling loan obligations.
  • Document account information and collection activities accurately and professionally.
  • Locate customers through databases and references (Skip Trace).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 5+ years of experience in collections, preferably in the subprime consumer lending industry.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
  • Professional, tactful, and sensitive interaction with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule and overtime availability.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $27.00/hr + Bonus.
