Account Servicing Specialist - 30 Day Collections

About the Role

The Account Servicing Specialist (30 Days) will be responsible for servicing auto loan accounts that are 30-60 days delinquent and documenting all collection activities using loan servicing software.

Responsibilities

1. Follow all company policies, procedures, and FDCPA regulations.
2. Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers and suggest solutions to meet their obligations.
3. Assist borrowers in devising strategies to retain their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.
4. Document all account information and collection activities professionally and accurately.
5. Locate customers using databases and references (Skip Trace).
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in collections, preferably in subprime consumer lending.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Professional, tactful interaction with customers.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr + bonus.
