Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
LGM Financial Services Inc. is seeking a Dealer Development Manager for Edmonton and Northern Alberta. This field-based role focuses on prospecting, building dealer relationships, and expanding SecureDrive and extended warranty programs with auto dealers.
You will travel frequently, engage Dealer Principals, GMs and F&I managers, and drive growth through new rooftop relationships, while leveraging national brand support and a performance-driven environment.
LGM is a national leader in providing warranty, finance and insurance services to the Canadian automotive industry. Since 1998, LGM has partnered with leading automotive manufacturers and dealerships across Canada to deliver award-winning F&I solutions. As part of our next phase of growth, the SecureDrive brand is expanding rapidly nationally, offering a full suite of used-vehicle protection products that combine performance, technology, and dealer support.
As a Dealer Development Manager for the Edmonton and Northern Alberta region, you will own a high-potential territory and be the face of LGM and SecureDrive with auto dealers in the area. This is a pure business development role: you will prospect, cold call, and leverage your existing dealer network to open doors, win new rooftop relationships, and convert them to selling LGM’s extended warranty and insurance products.
You’ll spend most of your time in the field, building credibility with Dealer Principals, GMs, and F&I Managers, challenging the status quo, and showing them how SecureDrive programs can grow their F&I profit and retention. Backed by a national brand, strong product suite, and internal training/support, you’ll have the autonomy to run your territory like your own business.
You’ve already managed a sales territory and know how to prospect, plan your travel, and consistently grow dealer penetration. You bring existing relationships with auto dealerships in the Edmonton and Northern Alberta region (or can quickly build them) and have credibility with Dealer Principals, GMs, and F&I teams. Experience in banking or automotive finance - especially as a Dealer Relationship Manager or auto finance rep calling on dealer groups - is a strong asset and will help you ramp up quickly in this role.
