Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma of Vocational Studies in Computing Support or equivalent with two years of relevant experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license to travel to the schools.
• Competency in English and French.
• Willingness to participate in professional development activities.
• Exhibits organizational ability, autonomy and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computers and peripheral equipment; connect and ensure compatibility; perform minor repairs.
• Install, configure and upgrade software and in-house programs per procedures; use utilities to locate and resolve problems; manage backups and data transfer.
• Assist users, provide information, and refer to qualified personnel or suppliers as needed.
• Keep and update inventory of hardware and software.
• Train new data processing operators, class I, and coordinate the work of support staff.
• Perform any other related duty as required.
