Data Platforms and Operations Coordinator

Join to apply for the Data Platforms and Operations Coordinator role at KINESSO.

The Data Platforms and Operations Coordinator will be positioned for rapid growth within the Digital group and will gain invaluable hands-on experience within the digital media marketplace. This entry-level role offers the chance to work with a wide variety of client planners, data & technical solutions providers, and has a substantial internal support system. This position focuses on developing expertise in digital media operations. Knowledge of digital advertising, display ad serving, and digital media buying operations are assets for the ideal candidate. The role requires operating on both strategic and tactical levels, covering campaign trafficking, pacing, quality assurance, optimization, reporting, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain digital campaigns for assigned clients using media management platforms, including trafficking, pacing, optimization, reporting, and reconciliation, and manage creative uploads and tagging with ad servers.
  • Set up campaigns optimally, including creative/tagging requirements, reporting metrics, and strategies for impact and efficiency.
  • Act as a primary contact for campaign operations with planners: build, optimize, analyze, troubleshoot, report, and reconcile campaigns.
  • Collaborate with up to three agencies (UM, Initiative, Media Experts), understanding their workflows and processes.
  • Manage multiple campaigns, prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Coordinate with external Ad Ops Hub for troubleshooting and support to ensure campaign success.
  • Use Asana to manage tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ensure trafficking and site tagging processes are followed.
  • Assist in resolving delivery and performance issues.
  • Communicate campaign optimization results to planners to demonstrate value against goals, including viewability and verification metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date reconciliation for assigned clients, meeting billing deadlines.
  • Identify and retrieve missing or unpaid invoices from media partners.
  • Reconcile delivered impressions with booked impressions as needed.
  • Update or create training materials for the team.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, commerce, communications, statistics, web development, or IT.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret data insights.
  • Problem investigation, analysis, and clear communication skills.
  • Motivated to develop a career in media operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Asana.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charts.
  • Knowledge of HTML scripting, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred.
