Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a highly motivated Business Process Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO). You will help design and improve data governance processes, including regulatory compliance, metadata management and data quality monitoring.

Together with data stewards, compliance officers, IT and business units, you will map current and future-state processes, support automation of manual tasks, create SOPs and user guides, and drive lean improvements that deliver

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of data governance concepts.
• Interest in regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, OSFI, HIPAA or SOX.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Document, analyze, and optimize business processes related to regulatory data compliance and metadata management.
• Map current and future-state processes with stakeholders across the organization.
• Support automation of manual tasks through workflow tools and automation platforms.
• Develop process documentation, SOPs, and user guides; participate in Lean improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and suggest data-driven improvements.
