Job summary

Citi in Mississauga is seeking a Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst to help shape the enterprise data governance strategy and risk framework. You will partner with multiple teams to implement governance policies, develop KPIs, and report on program health to senior leadership.

You will analyze large datasets, design data quality rules, and translate insights into actionable remediation steps while balancing stakeholder needs across banking and corporate finance contexts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years relevant experience in data governance or related fields.
• 3+ years Data & Querying with SQL across multiple systems.
• 3+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, Analytics, or related areas.
• Proven experience in KPI development and performance reporting.
• Ability to translate data insights into remediation actions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams to implement Data Governance policies and frameworks.
• Support governance framework design, effectiveness, and monitoring.
• Use SQL to extract, validate, and analyze data across enterprise systems.
• Oversee Product Taxonomy Adoption program metrics and reporting.
• Coordinate governance strategy rollout with business lines and global teams.
• Analyze data across systems to identify trends and gaps; deliver insights.
• Develop and maintain KPIs aligned to governance and controls.
• Produce dashboards showing governance program health and remediation progress.
• Gather metrics and benchmark against industry best practices.
• Manage governance forums and report progress to stakeholders.
