Job summary

Rogers Communications is seeking a Sr Data Gov. Lead, Auto & Ops to advance the maturity of its Enterprise Data Governance program. You will modernize governance processes, operationalize governance-by-design, and leverage automation to improve data quality and compliance across the organization.

Work across business and technology teams to translate governance requirements into scalable operating models, controls, and automated solutions that support privacy, security, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems, data management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Governance Operations, Data Quality, Metadata Management, or related fields.
• Experience implementing and operationalizing enterprise Data Governance programs, including governance processes and controls.
• Experience in assessing current-state processes and designing scalable future-state workflows and governance practices.
• Strong understanding of metadata management, data quality, privacy, compliance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Translate governance requirements into scalable operating models, processes, controls, and automated solutions.
• Establish governance metrics, reporting, and assessment capabilities to measure effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Lead initiatives to enhance governance processes, standards, and data quality capabilities.
• Advise and train stakeholders to embed governance into day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
• Identify governance risks and remediation opportunities to improve maturity and compliance.
• Monitor governance trends and incorporate relevant practices into the framework.
