Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking a data engineer to develop and maintain ETL pipelines, design data flows, and ensure data availability for analytics teams. You will collaborate across functions on modeling data, dashboards, and reports while supporting existing pipelines.

Minimum 2–3 years in data engineering with a CS degree and strong SQL skills is expected. The role offers a hybrid work environment and attractive benefits in Canada.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of data engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and data pipeline/ETL knowledge.
• Ability to work with analytics and business teams.
• Completed Data Science coursework or certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using MS SSIS and/or Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines.
• Design and optimize workflows to extract, transform and load data from various sources.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and availability for analysts and reporting teams.
• Collaborate with analysts to deliver modeled data, dashboards and reports.
• Troubleshoot and support existing data pipelines and integrations.
