The role involves working with SQL/No-SQL databases, Spark, Kafka, Trino, Airflow, and cloud infrastructure (AWS) here in Vancouver.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and No-SQL databases.
• Experience building distributed data systems with Spark, Kafka, and Trino.
• Strong Python, C#, or Scala coding for production-grade data apps.
• Cloud data infrastructure experience, preferably AWS.
• Expertise with ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration with Airflow.
• Experience delivering AI/BI insights with data governance and cataloging.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models to support analytics.
• Own end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Address data ingestion, storage strategies, and reliability.
• Oversee batch and real-time processing, ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams on data initiatives.
