Job summary

Thales Group in Ottawa is seeking a meticulous Data Coordinator to manage data systems, ensure accuracy, and support multiple projects nationwide. The role emphasizes data governance, documentation, and cross‑team collaboration in a hybrid Ottawa Halifax environment.

You will collect, organize and validate data across Windchill, Jira and SharePoint, generate reports, and train new users in data tools. Relevant experience and a data-focused diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in data coordination, data management, or a similar role.
• Diploma in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain data entry processes ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Collect, organize, transcribe and input data into Windchill, SFTP, SharePoint, Jira.
• Perform regular data quality checks, flag inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors.
• Develop and implement processes for effective data management.
• Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decisions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security regulations.
• Provide controlled data to internal and external customers; maintain data docs.
• Support onboarding and training of new users in Data Management tools.
