Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an MCF Engineer to work under a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer. You will develop basic system designs, coordinate across disciplines, and support project delivery for data center facilities.

The role offers opportunities to work on cutting-edge designs in a globally connected practice. Relocation and flexible locations are possible for the right candidate, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and quality.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years related industry experience preferred.
• Registered professional engineer / EIT or other certification preferred.
• Data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic system designs within own discipline under supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepare project deliverables per client’s scope and proposal.
• Coordinate with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Follow quality management processes and review deliverables.
• Assist with shop drawings, RFIs, site visits, and punch lists.
• Participate in professional community activities for growth.
• Assist the Project Engineer on project related tasks.
• Meet or exceed utilization goals and adhere to budget.
