Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities Engineer to develop basic system designs under supervision and guide Designers within a multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on data center projects, requiring collaboration across engineers, architects, and sustainability specialists.

The engineer will support project delivery, maintain schedules, and ensure adherence to client scope while pursuing professional growth within Stantec’s global design practice.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years related industry experience.
• PE/FE/EIT or other professional certification preferred.
• Datacenter experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic system designs within own discipline under supervision of a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Works with project team to prepare deliverables per client scope.
• Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Follows quality management process; reviews deliverables prior to QA/AC review.
