Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) Engineer to join our Buildings team in Canada. The role performs technical duties under supervision, develops basic designs, and guides Designers on routine duties on data center projects.

Open to any Stantec office location for the right candidate. The position requires an accredited engineering degree, 5+ years of industry experience, and P.Eng/EIT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years related industry experience.
• Registered professional engineer / engineer in training (EIT) or other professional certification preferred.
• Data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops basic system designs within own discipline under supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s scope of work.
• Coordinates with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Follows quality management process and reviews deliverables.
• Assists with reviews of shop drawings, RFIs, and site reports.
• Participates in professional development and industry activities.
• Supports Project Engineer on project tasks and budget adherence.
