Job summary

Bell is seeking a Technical Due Diligence Project Manager to lead the evaluation, assessment, and qualification of prospective data centre sites across Canada. You will manage end-to-end due diligence to ensure sites meet Bell’s criteria for AI Fabric and mission-critical deployments.

You will coordinate with engineering, real estate, utilities, environmental consultants, and construction partners to identify risks and provide executive recommendations for acquisition and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering/architecture or related field.
• PMP designation or equivalent certification.
• 7–10 years in data centre development or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience evaluating Greenfield and Brownfield developments.
• Knowledge of utility infrastructure, electrical distribution, data centre design.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive technical due diligence assessments for prospective data centre sites.
• Develop site evaluation framework, scoring matrix, and qualification criteria.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, real estate, utilities, environmental specialists, and regulators.
• Assess electrical, mechanical, structural, security, and cooling aspects.
• Prepare executive recommendations for site viability and investments.
• Coordinate regulatory reviews and permitting processes.
