Job summary

Bell is seeking a Technical Due Diligence Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end site assessments for data centre deployments across Canada. You will coordinate engineering, real estate, utilities, environmental consultants, and construction partners to evaluate viability and deliver executive recommendations for AI Fabric and mission‑critical infrastructure deployments.

You will manage risk, drive a site evaluation framework, and ensure thorough documentation and governance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, or related field.
• PMP designation or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in: Data centre development, Mission‑critical facilities, Infrastructure planning, Technical due diligence, Site selection.
• Strong knowledge of: Utility infrastructure, Electrical distribution systems, Data centre design principles, Permitting and planning processes, Environmental assessments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive technical due diligence assessments for prospective data centre sites.
• Develop and maintain Bell's site evaluation framework, scoring matrix, and qualification criteria.
• Coordinate utility engagement activities with electrical utilities and municipalities.
• Assess fibre connectivity, carrier diversity, and network resiliency options.
• Present findings and recommendations to Bell leadership.
• Maintain site evaluation dashboards, risk registers, and decision logs.
